Position: Principal and Founder

Faron is a trusted advisor and seasoned advocate, having practiced law in Winnipeg for over twenty-five years.

Founding Trippier Law in 2023, Faron has committed the firm to providing our clients with high quality, professional and personalized legal services. He has extensive experience in resolving disputes both inside and outside the courtroom and is known as a skilled litigator and negotiator.

Faron has experience in many areas, including:

  • commercial disputes
  • advising corporations and boards with respect to corporate governance issues

First Nations’ legal issues are a primary focus for Faron, including
:

  • claims against Canada, Manitoba, and municipal government related to the failure to consult;
  • claims related to significant environmental damage and impact to First Nations communities;
  • negotiation and mediation of claims involving constitutional and treaty claims; and
  • advising Tribunal Councils and First Nations directly on severance and management of First Nations.

Faron has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba and has appeared in Federal court. He has extensive experience in administrative and regulatory proceedings, as counsel for members of professional organizations, as well as for professional bodies.

Previously, Faron has been a guest lecturer for The Law Society of Manitoba and updated course materials for the CPLED program for articling students. Faron is also involved with the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association and is the former Manitoba Director.
